Mit Maeda haben wir einen der auch im Sturm spielen kann. Soooo schlecht sind wir ganz vorne nun auch wieder nicht aufgestellt.

Ist natĂĽrlich auch die komplizierteste Position.

Spieler wie Larsson, Zurawski, Hooper oder Dembele sind da absolute GlĂĽcksgriffe.

Man kann halt ne Menge Geld vergraben im Sturm.

Wenn man z. B. sieht, wieviele Spieler die Blauen schon fĂĽr gutes Geld fĂĽr diese Position verpflichtet haben.

BACK THE TEAM, HOLD THE BOARD ACCOUNTABLE

On Wednesday night we joined thousands of Celtic fans throughout the stadium in chanting 'Sack The Board'.
For us, this chant was not just about one poor result in a European qualifying campaign, although the last two decades have seen many of those - often due to a lack of timely investment to strengthen our playing squad, something many of our managers have called out during their time here.
While 'sacking' the board may not be a realistic demand, such chants are one of the few methods of airing discontent available to us due to the way our club operate.
For us, this is about the board's continuous incompetence and total disregard of the opinions of Celtic fans who spend thousands of pounds every season supporting the club and see little to no return on investment either in the playing squad, the stadium and the match day experience to name just a few grievances.

Examples include:
• The recent season ticket price increase for the 2025-2026 season. These were justified by the club as necessary to cover the recent national minimum wage and national insurance increases for match day staff - while we have tens of millions of pounds in the bank.
• The severe lack of investment into an aging stadium, with ordinary fans seeing no improvement of their match day experience over many years.
• The lack of transparency around ticketing: tickets for away matches becoming more difficult to attain for fans who've attended matches for years, a dysfunctional ticketing office and a slow march towards pricing increases throughout Scotland which our club are complicit in.
• The fans survey which was undertaken a year ago with much fanfare from the club, yet the results are still unreleased and excuse after excuse is given as to why not.
• The lack of meaningful engagement and unwillingness to work with active fan groups to improve match day atmosphere, at times descending into total farce, such as the suspended ban currently imposed on the Green Brigade.

• Unwillingness to explore or work towards a 'Celtic End' - one of the key results of the fans survey, despite many examples now of other clubs in Scotland working proactively with their active fan organisations. This total refusal to increase standing capacity despite overwhelming demand leads to 'solutions' such as fencing off parts of the stadium and introducing enhanced security checks with no regard for fan safety.
• The lack of update on or release of the Fairhurst Inquiry into the unacceptable kettling of Celtic fans nearly five months on.
Wednesday night was just one poor result, but taken with the above issues, highlights our many grievances with the way the club is run.
While we may still win the tie and we may strengthen the squad this transfer window, the issues outlined above are just some of many which will not change without accountability and transparency from the Celtic board.

So, 2 Nächte drüber geschlafen und jetzt geht's hoffentlich in die richtige Richtung mit 3 Siegen in 10 Tagen und ein paar sinnvollen "Neuen". Den einen aus Belgien, den anderen aus Holland, dazu noch Vardy (ist das noch aktuell???). Das wäre schon mal ein Anfang ... denn die Mannschaft ist nicht unbedingt eine der Schlechtesten der letzten Jahre vom Kader her, aber eine der Langweiligsten in meinen Augen. Da haut mich keiner vom Hocker, wenn ich ihn spielen sehe. Kein Engels, kein Nygren, kein Idah und auch kein Hatate oder Maeda mehr (wobei Letzterer jetzt der Nächste zu sein scheint, den die Ablöse-Milionen wohl zu sehr ablenken). Und auch das x-te Jahr Rodgers ist am Ende zu lang. Gerne schon mal nach nem neuen Trainer für die neue Saison suchen!

Und mal ganz ehrlich, nach dem Spiel von Mittwoch gehört keiner von beiden in die CL. Aber wenn man schon so knapp davor ist, dann sollte man das Geschenk auch annehmen. Almaty ist schließlich kein Brügge!!!

Nicht nur Alistair Johnston fällt verletzt aus, auch Adam Idah und Auston Trusty werden Samstag verletzt fehlen.

Celtic’s injury woes have deepened, with Brendan Rodgers confirming that both Adam Idah and Auston Trusty are carrying injuries, adding to the already-confirmed absence of right-back Alistair Johnston.
Rodgers revealed on Friday that Idah is struggling with a knee problem, while Auston Trusty could be set for a spell on the sidelines with a recurring heel issue.
“Adam Idah is struggling with his knee,” Rodgers said to TCW. “Auston Trusty could be out for a bit with the plantar fasciitis that he has had.”
The timing couldn’t be worse for Celtic. With Champions League qualification hanging in the balance and a trip to Ibrox on the horizon, the depth of the squad is being tested severely.
Idah was brought in last summer to add presence up front, but his form has stuttered and now fitness is a fresh concern. Trusty, signed to strengthen the defensive options, has yet to make a meaningful impact and now finds himself facing a spell out with a nagging heel problem. His issue could also explain why we havent seen him from the startin the league or Champions League qualifiers after his strong showing in pre-season.
These latest setbacks follow the news that Alistair Johnston will miss around 12 weeks after being stretchered off midweek against Kairat Almaty with a hamstring injury.
Rodgers may now be forced to rely even more heavily on existing squad options, with minimal time left in the window and growing calls for reinforcements. What started as a summer of promise is rapidly turning into a test of depth, resilience, and recruitment.

Ganz schwer zu tippen das Spiel morgen. Der Focus liegt sicherlich schon auf nächsten Dienstag. Irgendwie morgen 3 Punkte einfahren egal wie.

Ich denke, morgen wird eine B-Mannschaft auflaufen.

Vielleicht mit Simpson und Kenny von Beginn an.

Engels kann auch RV spielen, eventuell wird ja auch das die Übergangslösung.

WĂĽrde auch McCowan fĂĽr Hatate bringen, damit Letzterer am Dienstag alles geben kann.

Tippe trotzdem auf einen Sieg. Livingston steht zwar ziemlich vorne in der Tabelle, ist aber doch ziemlich ausrechenbar.
