Der Typ hat noch nie eine so geile Mannschaft wie die unsere trainiert und ist nur neidisch auf Neil.

Ihm hat mal früher jemand gesagt, er sei ein guter Fußballer. Dann war die Fußball-Zeit vorbei und jetzt gibts halt leider beruflich nix mehr, was er so richtig gut kann. Also schlägt er sich durch irgendwelche Privatsender und trumpft mit flotten Sprüchen ala Lattek auf. Stammtischparolen bis zum Geht nicht mehr. Vielleicht sollte man dem Verirrten mal sagen, wieviele Schulden Barca hat. Und wie solide wir das Ganze angehen. Aber den Vergleich würde er vermutlich nicht versetehen. Zuviele Kopfbälle trainiert...

Neil Lennon has given a scathing response to former Barcelona midfielder Bernd Schuster's criticism of Celtic's tactics at the Nou Camp on Tuesday.
The German said that teams like Lennon's should not be in the Champions League, despite the Scots being seconds away from drawing in Spain.

"I am disappointed that the media here wanted to emphasise his thoughts on the game," said Lennon of the reports.
"It's just the ramblings of someone who has failed as a coach."
The 52-year-old Schuster, who spent eight seasons at the Nou Camp, managed Fortuna Koln, FC Koln, Xerez, Shakhtar Donetsk, Levante, Getafe, Real Madrid and Besiktas after ending his playing career with Pumas in Mexico.

He resigned in March 2011 after less than a year in charge of Besiktas after being criticised by some in the the Turkish media for what they regarded as a reckless attacking style of play.
And Lennon had no time for his critic, who was also critical of Chelsea's winning Champions League final display when interviewed on Spanish station ABC Radio Punto.
The Celtic manager insisted that he had not gone out to be defensive in the 2-1 defeat by the Spaniards in the Group G game.

"I was sitting there 60 minutes into the game thinking 'God, what is Bernd Schuster thinking of our performance here, I better change it'," was Lennon's sarcastic response.
"I did go with two strikers and I did bring on James Forrest and Kris Commons.
"I didn't set out to be defensive, but sometimes Barcelona can get a grip of the opposition and not let go.
"So I don't take too much notice of Bernd Schuster.
"I am more into the thoughts of Gordon Strachan, Martin O'Neill and the Alex Ferguson's of this world, who I would take advice from before anyone else."

Hallo Zusammen, ich war schon mal ein wenig aktiv hier, allerdings hatte ich in der Vergangenheit wenig Zeit um auch zu schreiben, aber was lauft habe ich immer auch hier mitverfolgt :) Ich kommen aus Menziken, dass ist im Kanton Aargau in der Schweiz.
Nun habe ich eine wichtige Frage an euch, ich glaube die passt am besten hier rein. Momentan muss ich meinen Militärdienst leisten und habe nun kurzfristig erfahren, dass ich in der Woche vom Celtic - Barca Spiel frei habe und so bin ich natürlich darauf gekommen nach Glasgow zu gehen um das Spiel live zu verfolgen. Ich möchte umbedingt mal ein CL im Paradise sehen und nun würde es passen. Leider, oder zum Glück für den Verein, sieht es danach aus, dass das Spiel ausverkauft ist. Nun möchte ich euch fragen, ob mir doch noch jemand einen Tipp geben kann, wie ich an 2 Tickets für mich und einen Kollegen kommen kann?

Das Spiel ist restlos ausverkauft. Entweder vor Ort, anderst sehe ich da leider absolut keine Chance fĂĽr dich.

Gegen Barca haben die Fans aus Spanien keine Karten zurĂĽckgegeben, weshalb keine weizteren Karten in den freien Verkauf gehen. Gegen Moskau gibt es evtl die Chance. Das Spiel ist zwar auch ausverkauft aber vielleicht finden noch ein paar Karten den Weg von RUssland nach Schottland. Ich glaube knapp 2000 Tickets haben die Fans aus Russland bereits zurĂĽckgegeben. Die sind aber auch schon wieder alle weg.

ja dann werd ich wohl schauen ob Barca noch Karte in den öffentlichen Verkauf gibt, die sollten ja noch welche vorhanden haben.

Höchste Konzentration ist am Mittwoch erwünscht und wenn das Spiel erst in der 94. Minute abgepfiffen wird. Barca wird gerade in der Abwehr besser stehen als im Hinspiel. Ich erhoffe mir, daß unser Support unseren Jungs den nötigen Rückhalt bis zum Schlusspfiff gibt, wovon man zu 150 % ausgehen kann. Mein Herz sagt mir, daß wir einen Punkt holen, mein Verstand, daß wir das Spiel verlieren werden. Aber gegen Barca kann man verlieren, die zwei wichtigere Spiele kommen danach. Mit einem Pünktchen allerdings können wir unsere Chancen, was zumindest Platz 3 ( EL ) angeht fast eintüten.

Celtic vs Barcelona preview

Neil Lennon has been rocked by injury problems ahead of the eagerly-anticipated clash at Parkhead.

Izaguirre is out for six weeks with a hamstring injury picked up during the 2-2 Scottish Premier League draw with Dundee United on Sunday and stopper Thomas Rogne is out for two weeks with a calf complaint picked up in the same game.
Winger James Forrest (hamstring) and strikers Gary Hooper (hamstring), Lassad (groin) and Georgios Samaras (ankle) missed the trip to Tayside and only the latter appears to have a real chance of making the game against the Catalan giants.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been given the green light to return to action after injury and has been included in the Catalan side's squad.
Pique has not played since suffering a foot injury against Spartak Moscow on 19th September but is now available again for coach Tito Vilanova.
Pique's central defensive partner Carles Puyol is still missing through injury though, as are Adriano and Thiago Alcantara, while Sergio Busquets is suspended.

GUTTED Gary Hooper looks set to be robbed of his first England cap.

SunSport understands boss Roy Hodgson was planning to call up the Celtic striker for next week’s friendly with Sweden.

But unlucky Hoops is crocked with a hamstring injury and his big chance is set to pass him by.

Hooper has already been ruled out of tonight’s Champions League clash with Barcelona at Parkhead.

And now he will be forced to tell England medics he’s not available for selection.

It’s a massive blow to the 24-year-old striker who has been desperate to break into his national team.

His Hoops team-mate Fraser Forster was selected for last month’s World Cup clash in Poland, and is expected to retain his place in the squad for the Stockholm friendly.

But striker Hooper will now need to put his debut on hold.

It’s still a positive for him that Hodgson was prepared to pick him for his squad.

And Hooper — with 61 Celtic goals since arriving in July 2010 — will be keen to stay in Hodgson’s thoughts.

Hooper fällt für heute aus. Inzwischen bin ich auch dafür Samaras nicht spielen zu lassen. Den brauchen wir fit gegen Benfica und Moskau. Da weder Watt oder Miku als einzigste Spitze etwas reissen werden, bin ich dafür, daß beide beginnen.
