Der Affenschädel mal wieder! Da er ja schon länger wieder bei denen mittrainiert war es ja eigentlich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis er mal wieder seine unsterbliche Liebe zu royal Blue entdeckt, witzig ist aber nur, dass es anscheinend immer noch Leute gibt, die ihm das abnehmen!
Als Spieler hatte er ja unbestreitbar gewisse Stärken, aber ansonsten ist der echt der größte Söldner, den ich jeh erlebt habe! Neben dem wirkte selbst Mo Johnstone noch wie der Inbegriff an Vereins- und Prinzipientreue!

Rangers hit back at 'cheap laugh' from Celtic which claimed side's had played their 'last ever derby'


THE Ibrox club said that, as the claim on Celtic's website hadn't been removed after six days, it is a view which must be shared by chief executive Peter Lawwell.


RANGERS have reacted angrily after an article on Celtic's club website described the clash between the sides last April as the “last-ever derby.”

In the match programme for the weekend game against Elgin City and the club’s own official website, the Ibrox outfit stated their unhappiness over the insinuation that the Light Blues had gone out of existence over the summer.

An article entitled Jibe Only Motivates More included: “If you read between the lines, the chances are are it was nothing more than someone causing mischief and pandering to fans by looking for a cheap laugh.

“But now, some six days on, the phrase still hasn’t been removed so one can assume it is a view shared by Peter Lawwell et al.”

The article continued to mention that Celtic majority shareholder Dermot Desmond had in October spoken of Rangers being a fantastic club with a great history and said: “He talked with class, dignity and, most of all, common sense. It was refreshing to hear someone from the other side refuse to allow hatred and bitterness cloud the truth."

But then the article swiped: “If only his colleagues were as distinguished and honourable."

It later added: "When Rangers were at their lowest ebb, the likes of Celtic, Dundee United and Hibernian seemed to be most keen to keep them pinned down.

"There were others too, including some in the media, who seemed to delight in the fact that the Light Blues were getting weaker by the day.

"Lawwell once said Celtic didn’t need Rangers and perhaps he was right. They seem to be prospering both at home and abroad without us, so let's leave them to it.

"By the same token, the last six months have proved Rangers don’t need Celtic either."

Celtic last night confirmed they were aware of the article, but refused to be drawn into a war of words and a spokesman for the Parkhead club said: "It’s quite bizarre, but not worthy of further comment."
